Welcome to the Experiencing Drought in the Grasslands of the American West project website!
The original website was designed to support the project "Land System Vulnerability and Resilience to Drought: A Multi-Scale, Comparative Analysis of Public and Private Lands in the American West" funded by the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) research grant (#CMMI-1266381). The project has since grown to encompass several related projects of the principal investigators including the United States Department of Agriculture-National Institute of Food and Agriculture (USDA-NIFA), grant number 2018-68002-28109, "Participatory approaches to Agroecosystem Resilience In times of Drought (ARID): An example from the Southern Great Plains" and the United States Geological Survey (USGS) (104)g grant, "Fostering Student Training & Enhanced Educational Opportunities on Groundwater Management."
Please use the navigation menu in the top right of the page to explore more about these projects, our ongoing research, and our contact information.
